Coupons will be available in stores starting October 1, 2018, and will expire on April 30, 2019.

Coupons can be earned at any one of the participating stores by making a qualifying purchase. To make a qualifying purchase, you must spend $10 or more of your SNAP benefits and include at least one piece of fruit or vegetable in your purchase. This will earn you 1 booklet with $10 of coupons. The next time you use your coupons at the store, you must make another qualifying purchase in order to receive more coupons. You do not need to make a qualifying purchase in order to redeem your coupons.

You may use your coupons to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. The coupons are each worth $1 and may be redeemed at the register. Inform your cashier that you will be redeeming your coupons, and separate out your fresh fruits and vegetables from the rest of your purchase.

Coupons can only be used to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. Fresh means just picked, not canned, dried, frozen, cooked, or processed in any way.

Nope! You can hold on to your accumulated coupons and use as many as you want at any time between October 2018 and April 2019.

No, change will not be given when coupons are used. For example, if you purchase $5.42 worth of fresh fruits or vegetables, you will pay with $6 worth of coupons. Try adding an extra piece of produce like a banana or apple to your cart to get you closer to the full dollar amount! Coupons cannot be redeemed for cash.

No, there is not any limit on the number of coupons you can acquire throughout the duration of the program. All that is required is that you make a qualifying purchase in order to earn more coupons.
