Programs: Grow a row

Grow a Row, a project of the Farm-to-School Network, encourages community members to grow an extra row of produce for their local school.
Program Goals:
- Enable schools to serve more fresh vegetables without adding to the cost of their meals
- Encourage children to eat more nutritious foods by providing tasty, fresh produce for school cafeterias
This summer, we are looking for volunteers to Grow A Row for the following schools: Albany, Brownington, Coventry, Glover, Holland, Irasburg, Jay/Westfield, Lowell, Newport, Orleans, and Troy
Recommended Grow A Row foods:

| Zucchini | Winter squash | Broccoli |
| Beets | Peppers | Cauliflower |
| Potatoes | Spinach | Apples |
| Sweet corn | Tomatoes | Berries |

Print and return our registration form or send an email be sure to include:
- Name
- Mailing Address
- Phone number
- The school where you plan to take your produce
- What you hope to grow
After receiving your form, we’ll send you a welcome packet with everything you need to know!
